Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is the world's second-smallest continent in terms of area and third-largest continent after Asia and Africa in population.

Agualva-Cacem is a Portuguese city, located in the municipality of Sintra. It comprises the parishes of Agualva, Cacem, Mira-Sintra and Sao Marcos. Although the official designation is Agualva-Cacemit, it is commonly referred to as Cacem. In 2001, the population of the city was 81, 845 and an area of 127 square kilometers.

Until recently, the name Agualva-Cacem belonged to a freguesia with 10.51 square kilometers surface area. There are two football clubs in Agualva-Cacem and two futsal clubs. Football clubs are Ginasio Clube de Maio de Agualva and Atletico Clube do Cacem. Agualva-Cacem is the kind of town you daydream about. It is a city with endless recreational opportunities, rich history, and modern day luxuries.
