Aiseau-Presles is a Belgian city located in the Walloon province of Hainaut. In 2006, the population of the city was 10,754 and an area of 22.19 square kilometers. The Walloon economy experienced a strong development in the 19th century, essentially in the regions of Liege and Charleroi. The Walloon Region is the mainly French-speaking region that constitutes one of the three federal regions of Belgium, with its capital at Namur. Its official languages are French and German.
