Andravida




Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea. Europe is the world's second-smallest continent in terms of area and third-largest continent after Asia and Africa in population.
 
Andravida is a city in the Prefecture of Elis in Greece. It has a military base on the east side and a forest in the north side. It was the capital of the Principality of Achaea from 1295 until 1460; after this it was conquered and ruled by the Ottoman Empire until Greek independence. It had a court which is no longer used in the present day.

Andravida is also a municipality that has a population of nearly 4,500 people. About eighty percent live in Andravida, ten percent in Strousi, and the remainder lives elsewhere. Much of the municipality is flat and rarely forested with willows and pine trees. The municipality has about 1,000 buildings. There are about 10 kilometers of federally operated highways.
 
Frankish-built church of Aghia Sophia is in the heart of town, and the plain in the south. Its population is about 3,000. Its main street is named Aghiou Konstantínou. The population growth of the city has been steadily growing. Houses are still being built in the town.
 
A market brings in shoppers every Saturday for mostly unbeatable prices on grocery, textiles, games, clothing, and so much more. The location is in Andravida's west side. Near the road that connects the national highway. A tomato factory Asteris produces a lot of tomato sauce, sold throughout Greece. Tractors filled with tomatoes are being carried into the factory to produce fine tomato sauce.

Andravida, due to its many historic events and places it has been one of the favorite destinations of visitors.. It is also said the place of best geographical environment and can trace its origins back to prehistoric times.
