Ekali

Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea.

Ekali is an exclusive touristic city located in Europe. It is a rather an exclusive suburban community in Attica prefecture of Greece just about 20 kilometers to the north of Athens. Topographically located at an altitude of 330 meters above the sea level, Ekali sits between the Athenian plain and the Penteli Mountains.

Ekali has strict building conventions to ensure the conservation of its character as a pleasant and verdant suburb. The population of the city continues to grow owing to the industrialization in and around the city. As of 2001 census, the population of the city increased to almost 5,190 inhabitants.

Ekali is connected through an interchange with GR-1/E75 junction at the 18 kilometer near Varybobi, to the southwest. The street plan is mainly of mixed triangles and lines that run parallel, not as a grid. The streets lead to squares and circles and one main street connecting with GR-1/E75. In terms of metropolitan planning, there are a couple of children playgrounds, and a few squares, including Kennedy Square. The city is purely residential, which means retail shops or commercial and professional businesses are not permitted within the community.

Like some of its sister cities and towns, Ekali is blessed with beautiful surroundings and a unique natural setting. The picturesque scenery, the majesty of the mountains, the slow pace of life, and the welcoming nature of its people all combine to make this region one of the most important touristic attractions in Europe.
