Chalandri

Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea. Europe is the world's second-smallest continent in terms of area and third-largest continent after Asia and Africa in population.

Chalandri is a community in Northern Athens, around 10 kilometers from the centre. In 2001, the population of the city was 71,684. Athens is the capital and biggest city of Greece. Named after goddess Athena, Athens is an international metropolis with a population of 3.7 million people. The Athens metropolitan area constitutes the center of economic, financial, industrial, cultural and political life in Greece. Also the city is rapidly becoming a business center in the European Union.

Chalandri houses a large number of schools from public to private schools, lyceums, gymnasia, churches, a post office, supermarkets, banks, a sporting club, shopping malls, and the Greek Mint. Chalandri is the kind of town you daydream about. It is an attractive city with natural beauty and historical places, while traveling in Europe.
