Eda

Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea. Europe is the world's second-smallest continent in terms of area and third-largest continent after Asia and Africa in population.

Eda is an exclusive touristic city located in Europe. It is a Swedish municipality in Varmland County in west central Sweden, on the Norwegian border. The municipal seat is located in Charlottenberg, with 2,000 inhabitants. Topographically, Eda is located at an altitude of 125 meters above the sea level and has an area of 825 square kilometers.

Perhaps the most notable sight to be visited in Eda is the Eda Fortlet, which was in use from 1650 to 1814. It was the larger fortress of the province of Varmland with the purpose of defending against Norwegian troops. It was made obsolete with the Union between Sweden and Norway, 1814.

Like some of its sister cities and towns, Eda is blessed with beautiful surroundings and a unique natural setting. The picturesque scenery, the majesty of the mountains, the slow pace of life, and the welcoming nature of its people all combine to make this region one of the most important touristic attractions in Europe.
