Erineos

Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea. Europe is the world's second-smallest continent in terms of area and third-largest continent after Asia and Africa in population.

Erineos in Europe is a municipality in the east-northeastern part of the Achaea prefecture, Greece. Its seat of administration is in the village Kamares, older forms Kamarai and Kamare. The old road linking Patras connects the village and Corinth along with Aigio while the superhighway is to the north. Kamares is also linked with the road linking to Seliana, the only road linking through the Panachaicus.

It is located about 10 kilometers West of Aigio, about 40 kilometers Northwest of Pteri, about 30 kilometers East of Patras from the old road and about 36 kilometers from the Freeway via the Longos interchange to the east which its nearest interchange and is also accessed to Longos Beach. Kamares is slightly west of the 22nd parallel or 22 degree east line. The provincial boundary with Patras and Aigialia is to the east.

Kamares has a school, a lyceum, a church, banks, a post office, a train station which is located to the west 20 meters above the old highway and a square in the central part. It sits on a plain which is connected with west of Aigio. The hills and the mountains lie to the west and hills to the south. Farms lie to the central part and groves to the northern part and the southern part along with mixed farming. The forests that are filled with probably willow trees lie to the east and pine trees to the west and to the northwest with several small mountaintops.

Erineos can also be considered as the preeminent, historical and potential tourism destination that enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers to become one of the most visited places.
