Falun

Falun is a Municipality in central Sweden. The Municipalities of Sweden represent the local level of self government in Sweden. The population of the Municipality was 55,000 in the year 2005 with an area of 2,052 square kilometers. In population it has 38th rank out of 290 and in area it has 41st rank. Falun also has two cooperation towns without formal sistering treaty Kimberley in South Africa and Pskov in Russia. The Kingdom of Sweden is a Nordic country in Scandinavia.
