Molndal




Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Molndal is a municipality in Vastra Gotaland County, in western Sweden, just south of Gothenburg. The total area is 146 square kilometers with population of 57,752 was recorded in 2005. Molndal is the third largest municipality in Vastra Gotaland County, and about the 20th largest in Sweden. It also has the 18th highest population density in the country.
 
Today, Molndal is mostly know for its high concentration of different companies within the life science-sector. AstraZeneca has one of its global research centres here, currently about 3100 employees and still growing. Several other companies within pharmaceuticals, biomedicine and biotechnology to mention some research areas, are also located here.
 
Molndal is also known as the town of best geographical environment and has traced its origins back to prehistoric times. Today, one can also learn about its history, from its earliest times and can also enjoy its natural beauty concealed by the beautiful landscapes.
