Lampi

Lampi is a municipality in the Rethymno Prefecture, Crete, Greece. It had a population 6,133 residents in 2001. The seat of the municipality is in Spili. Rethymno is a prefecture in the island of Crete. Its capital is the city of Rethymno. Today its main income is tourism. The countryside of the prefecture is also based economically on agriculture and herding. Crete is the largest of the Greek islands and the fifth largest in the Mediterranean Sea.
