Nybro is a municipality in Kalmar County, in south-eastern Sweden with its seat in the town of Nybro. In 2005, the population of the city was 19,881. The name Nybro literally means New Bridge. When the city arms were granted in 1932, the lower part depicts a bridge. At present, Nybro is the only proper city in the whole Realm of Glass. It is otherwise also an industry marked municipality. Kalmar is a county in southern Sweden. It borders to the counties of Kronoberg, Jonkoping, Blekinge and Ostergotland.
