Geographically Orkelljunga is situated in north-western Skane on the border to the provinces Halland and Smaland. These parts of skane are notable for a varied terrain of leaf woods, farming areas and small lakes. Within the municipal borders is also a renowned golf course. The total area is of 321 square kilometers.
