Pynda is a municipality in the Trikala Prefecture, Greece. According to the 2001 census, population was 2,136. The seat of the municipality is in Stournaraiika. Trikala is a prefecture in northwestern Thessaly, Greece. Its capital is the city of Trikala. It contains Kalampaka, and Meteora with monasteries above the rocky ledges. It is located north west of Athens, North West of Karditsa, east of Ioannina and Metsovo, south of Grevena, south west of Thessaloniki and west of Larissa.

It can also be considered as the preeminent, historical and potential tourism destination that enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers to become one of the most visited places.
