Staffanstorp Municipality is a municipality in Skane in southernmost Sweden where the Scanian town Staffanstorp is seat. In the municipality there are two villages which have grown to suburbs, Staffanstorp with 13,600 inhabitants and Hjarup with 3,500 inhabitants, which both are typical residential districts dominated by detached houses build in the second half of the 20th century, wherefrom most people commute for work in the nearby cities of Lund and Malmo. The total area is 107 square kilometers. The population is of 20,394 and population density is 189.5 square kilometers.
 
The Kingdom of Sweden is a Nordic country in Scandinavia. It is bordered by Norway in the west, Finland in the northeast, the Skagerrak Strait and the Kattegat Strait in the southwest and the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Bothnia in the east.
