Buddy Bombard celebrates 30 years with a 52-day tour of 7 countries
Early-booking discount reduces price to US $71,087
For thirty years, Buddy Bombard--a world-renowned balloonist--has been hosting travelers on luxury vacations which include high-level experiences and low-level ballooning. To celebrate his 30th year of balloon tours, Buddy Bombard has announced an "Ultimate Adventure" of 52 days from August 15 - October 6, 2006.
The tour will include seven countries: Italy, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Germany and France.
In Italy, guests will join the Palio festival and dine with local nobility.
In Switzerland, travelers will balloon through across the countryside, visit UNESCO cities, helicopter to see cascading ice falls in the glorious mountain ranges.
The tour will then continue to Germany to see Mad King Ludwig's castles and into Austria to balloon through magnificent countryside.
In the Czech Republic, guests visit Prague and the Bohemian villages via private car and taste world-class pastries.
In Turkey, balloonists will stay at the five-star Ciragan Palace Hotel, the former palace of the last Ottoman Sultans.
Paris, Burgundy and the Loire Valley will all be visited while in France
The price of US $81,087 per person, double occupancy includes accommodations at deluxe and five-star accommodations, meals, ballooning, sightseeing and roundtrip transfers from the tour meeting place to the host hotel. Air transportation to and from Europe, airport transfers, airport taxes, passport fees and items of a personal nature are not included.
On each tour approximately one-third of each day is devoted to balloon related activities and two-thirds to sightseeing and the enjoyment of regional cuisine in unique settings.
A $10,000 savings is available on the 52-day trip, for booking prior to March 1, 2006. This would adjust the per person price to $71,087 double occupancy.
