Elaiochori, Kavala

Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea.

Elaiochori is an exclusive tourist destination located in Europe. It is a village and part of the municipality of Eleftheres in the Kavala prefecture of Greece. Recent investments attracted by the climate, soil, and altitude combination have transformed the Elaiochori area, making it one of the most important regions.

Kavala prefecture is a prefecture in eastern Macedonia. It serves as a capital city but mainly for Thrace because it had no permanent capital. The prefecture also includes the island of Thasos and is bounded with the Nestos River to the east. Kavala prefecture is the easthernmost in Greek Macedonia.

Like some of its sister cities and towns in Kavala, Elaiochori is blessed with beautiful surroundings and a unique natural setting. The picturesque scenery, the majesty of the mountains, the slow pace of life, and the welcoming nature of its people all combine to make this region one of the most important touristic attractions in Europe.
