Cartaxo
Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Cartaxo is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 158.2 square kilometers and a total population of 24,465 inhabitants. The municipality is composed of 8 parishes, and is located in the district of Santarem. The present Mayor is Paulo Simoes Caldas, elected by the Socialist Party. The municipal holiday is Ascension Day.
