Europe is the world's second-smallest continent in terms of area and third-largest continent after Asia and Africa in population.
 
Chalastra is a city in the Thessaloniki prefecture, in the region of Central Macedonia. It is located 20 kilometers west of the city of Thessaloniki, on the Greek National Road. The Municipality of Chalastra consists of two Municipal Departments Chalastra and Anatoliko. The population was 9,837 inhabitants according to the 2001 survey, most of them living from agriculture and small industry.

Thessaloniki is a prefecture in Greece, containing Thessaloniki, Lagana and the northern portion of the Chalcidicean peninsula. The region is the second in Greece in population and the biggest in Macedonia as well as northern Greece.

A city known for its historic myths and traditions, scenic beauty, cooperative people and luxurious hotels and cottages, Chalastra is one of the favorite holiday destinations for most of the vacation lovers.
