Distomo

Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea. Europe is the world's second-smallest continent in terms of area and third-largest continent after Asia and Africa in population.

Distomo is a municipality in the Boeotia Prefecture, Greece. According to the 2001 census, population was 4,368. One of the most important monuments of Byzantine architecture, the  monastery of Hosios Loukas, is situated.

Boeotia is one of the prefectures of Greece. It is within the Central Greece periphery. Its area was known in ancient times as Boeotia. Its capital is Livadeia and the second largest city is Thebes. It has access to the island of Euboea via two bridges, one that runs through Chalkida and one bypasses it with another road via Athens. Its bounding prefectures are Phocis in the west, Phthiotis in the north and northwest, Euboea in the east via a bay and a gulf and Attica in the south.

Distomo is definitely one of the popular tourist attractions in Europe worth paying a visit while touring the country. This place leaves a pleasing and unforgettable memory and justifies the proud cultural tradition of Europe.
