Gullspang

Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea. Europe is the world's second-smallest continent in terms of area and third-largest continent after Asia and Africa in population.

Gullspang Municipality is a Municipality in Västra Gotaland County, in western Sweden. Its seat is in Gullspang. The population was 5,653, area is 316 square kilometers, and density is 19 per square kilometers.

Gullspang borders to Mariestad Municipality and Toreboda Municipality in Vastra Gotaland County and the border to Töreboda is marked by the Gota Canal. It also east-wards borders to Laxå Municipality in Orebro County and north-wards to Kristinehamn Municipality. The southern part of the municipality contains the northern part of Swedish national park Tiveden. The two main towns are Hova and Gullspang, who have been in rivalry since the municipal seat was located in Gullspang with the municipal reform in 1971.

Like some of its sister municipalities and towns, Gullspang is blessed with beautiful surroundings and a unique natural setting. The picturesque scenery, the majesty of nature, the slow pace of life, and the welcoming nature of its people all combine to make this region one of the most important tourist attractions in Europe.
