Hoganas




Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Hoganas municipality is a municipality in southernmost Sweden with its seat in the Scanian town Hoganas. The total area is 144 square kilometers with population of 23,135 in 2005 and density is 160 per square kilometers. Hoganas received a charter in 1936. The municipality was created with the reform in 1971. Hoganas is nationally known for its cheramics industry, Hoganas Keramik. The municipality is located on the Kullen peninsula, which extreme part is known as the nature reserve Kullaberg hill, with the picturesque villages of Molle and Arild.
 
Hoganas is also known as the town of best geographical environment and has traced its origins back to prehistoric times. Today, one can also learn about its history, from its earliest times and can also enjoy its natural beauty concealed by the beautiful landscapes.
