Fargelanda is a small Swedish Municipality in Vastra Gotaland County, in western Sweden. The population of the city Fargelanda was 6,886 in the year 2005 with an area of 593 square kilometers. Fargelanda with its low population prefer to boast its nature. There are several opportunities for fishing, and Ellenosjon being a popular lake for pikeperch fishing.

Fargelanda also has an old and well preserved ancienct history. Rock carvings in Odeborg are located by Brotegarden Museum furthermore there are some 140 grave fields from the Iron Age scattered in the city. Fargelanda is the kind of town you daydream about.
