Kaisariani

Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea. Europe is the world's second-smallest continent in terms of area and third-largest continent after Asia and Africa in population.

Kaisariani also known as Kessariani is one of Europe most popular destinations, and is well known for the quantity of cultural related attractions and monuments that the city has embraced. It is a suburb in the eastern part of Athens, Greece. Kaisariani is located about 7 kilometers from downtown Athens. The city is accessed with Olof Palme Avenue. The municipality was created in 1934 out of a former subdivision of the city of Athens. It has an area of 7.84 square kilometers with a density of 3,369 per square kilometers and a population of 26,419.

The area was made up of farmlands and some forests dominated the area. The area was of mixed farming which included pastures, vegetables and groves. In the mid-20th century, suburban housing developments from Athens came over and eliminated farmlands leaving empty space in the southeast.

Presently, Kaisariani experiences a sharp social, economic and population growth derivative of the strategic position of the locality and the high level of well-being and quality of life that is enjoyed with respect to other places of Europe. This fact has consolidated along with other adjacent municipalities, as a great alternative for residence.
