Lochem

Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea. Europe is the world's second-smallest continent in terms of area and third-largest continent after Asia and Africa in population.

Lochem is a municipality and a city in the eastern Netherlands. On January 1, 2005, the municipality merged with the municipality of Gorssel. Lochem received city rights in 1233. Gorssel on the other hand is a small town, however Gorssel is one of the more wealthier towns in the Netherlands. It's also has some famous people living in it like tv-host Jos Brink and the rap group JFS. According to the 2005 census, population was 32,823, area is 216.48 square kilometers, and density is 154 per square kilometers.

The Netherlands is the European part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which consists of the Netherlands, the Netherlands Antilles, and Aruba. The Netherlands is a constitutional monarchy, located in northwestern Europe.

Like some of its sister municipalities and towns, Lochem is blessed with beautiful surroundings and a unique natural setting. The picturesque scenery, the majesty of nature, the slow pace of life, and the welcoming nature of its people all combine to make this region one of the most important tourist attractions in Europe.
