Koping

Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, to the west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean, including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea. Europe is the world's second smallest continent in terms of area and third largest continent after Asia and Africa in population.

Koping is a municipality in Vastmanland County, in central Sweden where Koping is the seat. It is situated at the end of the Malaren lake. The total area is 607 square kilometer. The population according to 2005 census was 24,667. Koping means merchant place. It was mentioned for the first time in the 13th century. It was probably referred to such a name as it did not yet have a charter. The central location of Koping seems appropriate for merchancy for people from different parts of the country. Koping was like the central and southern Sweden Christianized in the 11th century. A church built around the year 1300, the Koping Church, still remains from the early days.

Koping is surrounded by various lakes and mountains. It is also growing steadily. As it is often regarded as among the most beautiful parts of Europe, it is one of the most visited places amongst the most die hard travelers the world over.
