Modling




Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is the world's second-smallest continent in terms of area and third-largest continent after Asia and Africa in population.
 
Modling is a municipality in and the capital of the eponymous Austrian district Bezirk and located approximately 15 kilometers south of the centre of Vienna. On May 15, 2001 it had 20,400 inhabitants. It occupies an area of 9.95 square kilometers. Modling lies in Niederosterreich's industrial zone. The Modlingbach, a brook which rises in the Wienerwald, flows through the town. Near Achau it joins with the Schwechat. Woodland occupies a large part of the municipality.
 
Modling is also known as the town of best geographical environment and has traced its origins back to prehistoric times. Today, one can also learn about its history, from its earliest times and can also enjoy its natural beauty concealed by the beautiful landscapes.
