Kropia

Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea.

Kropia is one of the exclusive tourist destinations located in Europe. It is a municipality in East Attica, Greece. The seat of the municipality is in Koropi. Positioned at an elevation of 106 meters above the sea level, Kropia has a total land area of 103.16 square kilometers with population of 25,325 inhabitants and population density of 246 square kilometers as of 2001 census.

Recent investments attracted by the climate, soil, and altitude combination have transformed the Kropia area, making it one of the most important regions. Even though Kropia meant the partial loss of its tourist profile due to urbanization, some features of its past times of splendor still remain, with hotels and hostelries that are swarmed by thousands of visitors each year.
