Kungalv municipality is one of the preeminent, historical and potential tourism destinations that is located in Europe.  It is a municipality in Bohuslan in western Sweden administratively it belongs to Vastra Gotaland County. Its seat is in Kungalv. The city was founded in 1612, when the former settlement at Kungahalla was moved to the Bohus Fortress.
 
The area of the municipality is 364 square kilometers with a population of 38,257 and density of 105 per square kilometers. Hunter-gatherers and then farmers populated Sweden during the Stone Age, the Bronze Age and Iron Age followed this. Societies in Sweden remained on the preliterate tribal and chiefdom levels to the 1st millennium. The inhabitants of this time frame, and the ancestors of the Swedish people, are considered to be part of the Teutonic peoples.
