Levidi
Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea. Europe is the world's second-smallest continent in terms of area and third-largest continent after Asia and Africa in population.
Levidi, Arcadia, Greece is a small town and a municipality located in northcentral Peloponnese about 25 kilometers via the bypass and 20 kilometers north of Tripoli. The village sits on the northern part of the slope of the Mainalo mountains and is also built over. The pine forests are surrounding the town while slopes lies to the west. The urban area's longest length from west and the east of about 600 to 800 meters long and about 400 meters to 500 meters wide. The valley which contains potato and mixed farming is about 500 meters lower which extends up to near Kandila and is north of Levidi.
The city is passed by GR-74 and GR-33 for westbound lanes. It also accesses for another road especially to GR-66. It is located about 130 kilometers south-east of Patras, south of Stymfalia, about 90 kilometers south-west of Corinth, west of Argos, west-north-west of Sparta, north of Kalamata, north-north-east of Kyparissia and east of Pyrgos. According to the 2001 census, population was 4,131.
Levidi is also known as the town of best geographical environment and has traced its origins back to prehistoric times. Today, one can also learn about its history, from its earliest times and can also enjoy its natural beauty concealed by the beautiful landscapes.
