Lichada
Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. Lichada is a community in Euboea, Greece. According to the 2001 census, population was 1,140. Euboea is the second largest of the Greek Aegean Islands and the second largest Greek island overall in area and population. It is separated from the mainland of Greece by the Euboic Sea. In general outline it is long and narrow, it is about 150 kilometers long, and varies in breadth from 50 kilometers to 6 kilometers. Its general direction is from north-west to south-east, and it is traversed throughout its length by a mountain range, which forms part of the chain that bounds Thessaly on the east, and is continued south of Euboea in the lofty islands of Andros, Tenos, and Mykonos.
Greece is a country in south-eastern Europe, situated on the southern end of the Balkan Peninsula. It is bordered by Bulgaria, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Albania to the north and by Turkey to the east. The Aegean Sea lies to the east of mainland Greece , while the Ionian Sea lies to the west. Both parts of the eastern Mediterranean basin, feature a vast number of islands.
It can also be considered as the preeminent, historical and potential tourism destination that enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers to become one of the most visited places.
