Malakasi

Malakasi is a municipality in the Trikala Prefecture, Greece. As per 2001 it had the total population of 2,090. The seat of the municipality is in Panagia.
Trikala is a prefecture in northwestern Thessaly, Greece. Its capital is the city of Trikala. It contains Kalampaka and Meteora with monasteries above the rocky ledges. It is located northwest of Athens, east of Ioannina and Metsovo, south of Grevena, south west of Thessaloniki and west of Larissa.
