Nykvarn is a city located east of Sodertalje in Stockholm County, in central Sweden. In 2005, the population of the city was 8,328. Nykvarn is the result of the splitting of Sodertalje Municipality in the late 90’s. The municipality has a significant population increase in the summer. Nykvarn is located between the two cities Sodertalje and Strangnas and many citizens of Nykvarn works in one of the two.
