Dafni (Athens), Greece
Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea. Europe is the world's second-smallest continent in terms of area and third-largest continent after Asia and Africa in population.
Dafni, sometimes called Daphne, is a suburb of Athens, Greece. It has an Athens Metro station and Vouliagmenis Avenue. It is the smallest municipality in Athens. In 2001, the population of the city was 23,674 and an area of 1.38 square kilometers. It sits on a hill and almost the entire land is used for residential purposes, there are no industrial factories in that part of suburban Athens. A hill is located to the north near the Athens municipal boundary.
Greece, officially the Hellenic Republic, is a country in south-eastern Europe, situated on the southern end of the Balkan Peninsula. It is bordered by Bulgaria, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Albania to the north and by Turkey to the east. The Aegean Sea lies to the east of mainland Greece while the Ionian Sea lies to the west. Both parts of the eastern Mediterranean basin feature a vast number of islands.
