Kouloukonas is a municipality in the Rethymno Prefecture, Crete, Greece. Population of Kouloukonas was 5,949 in the year 2001. The seat of the municipality is in Garazo. Rethymno is a prefecture in the island of Crete. Its capital is the city of Rethymno. Crete is the largest of the Greek islands and the fifth largest in the Mediterranean Sea. As it is often regarded as among the most beautiful parts of Europe, it is one of the most visited places amongst the most die hard travelers the world over.
