Savsjo

Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea. Europe is the world's second-smallest continent in terms of area and third-largest continent after Asia and Africa in population.

Savsjo is one of the preeminent, historical and potential tourism destinations that is located in Europe. Savsjo municipality is a municipality in Jonkping County, in southern Sweden where the town Savsjo is the seat. The area of the municipality is 683 square kilometers. Its population as of 2005 is 10,973 and density is 6 per square kilometers. Savsjo is located on the Smalandian Highlands. The county also includes the eastern municipality of Vetlanda. It is considered a scenic nature because the forests are not as dense as in the rest of Smalandia and the terrain is more varied.

Various small companies dominate the industry in Savsjo. The town of Savsjo is located on the main line railway between Stockholm and Malmo. The distance to Malmo is about 220 kilometers. At the time Savsjo was nothing more than a few houses, but attracted by the railway it began expanding, attracting both industries and inhabitants. The municipality with its then 1.56 square kilometers had 1,481 people in 1917 at which time several small industries had established themselves there, most notably carpenters and other wood industries, and there was also a bank, a pharmacy and a post office.

Savsjo in the year 2000 agreed to accept 60 international refugees every year. A reason may be the decreasing population. Savsjo is working hard to grow in population. It currently offers a half-price offer when buying lots with the intention of building a house and home there.

Savsjo, justifiably so, enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers, and is one of the most visited places. It is also said the place of best geographical environment and can trace its origin back to prehistoric times.
