Thessaliotida

Thessaliotida is a municipality in Phthiotis, Greece. The population of the Thessaliotida municipality was 4,705 in the year 2001. The seat of the municipality is in Neo Monastirio. Greece, officially the Hellenic Republic, is a country in south eastern Europe, situated on the southern end of the Balkan peninsula. It is bordered by Bulgaria, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Albania to the north and by Turkey to the east.
Phthiotis, is one of the prefectures of Greece. The capital is the city of Lamia. It is bordered by the Maliac Gulf to the east, Boeotia in the south, Phocis in the south, Aetolia Acarnania in the southwest, Eurytania in the west, Karditsa in the north, Larissa in the north, and Magnesia in the northeast.
