Thisvi is a municipality in the Boeotia Prefecture, Greece. The population of the Thisvi  municipality was 4,480 in the year 2001. The seat of the municipality is in Domvraina. Greece, officially the Hellenic Republic, is a country in south eastern Europe, situated on the southern end of the Balkan peninsula. It is bordered by Bulgaria, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Albania to the north and by Turkey to the east. The Aegean Sea lies to the east of mainland Greece, while the Ionian Sea lies to the west.
 
Boeotia is one of the prefectures of Greece. It is within the Central Greece periphery. Its area was known in ancient times as Boeotia. Its capital is Livadeia and the second largest city is Thebes.

Thisvi is also known as the town of best geographical environment and has traced its origins back to prehistoric times. Today, one can also learn about its history, from its earliest times and can also enjoy its natural beauty concealed by the beautiful landscapes.
