Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Uppvidinge is a municipality in Kronoberg County, in southern Sweden with its seat in the town of Aseda. Aseda is also the largest urban area. It has a rather small population but states in a small municipality the human becomes large. According to the 2005 census, population was 9,514, area  is 1,1780 square kilometers, and density is 8 per square kilometers.
 
The name uppvidinge itself means something like forest on a hill. There has never really been any city in the municipality, so with the Swedish municipal reform in 1971 to 74, when Uppvidinge became a municipality, they reused to a name from a document from 1568, referring to the insignia of the historical hundred Uppvidinge Hundred. It depicts a herb of unknown species in a red color.

Uppvidinge is also known as the town of best geographical environment and has traced its origins back to prehistoric times. Today, one can also learn about its history, from its earliest times and can also enjoy its natural beauty concealed by the beautiful landscapes.
