Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea.
Ellinikon is an exclusive tourist destination located in Europe. It is a suburb of Athens, Greece situated to the south-east of Athens. It is the home of the Ellinikon International Airport, which has closed since 2001. One third of the municipality is covered by the airport, in which various Olympic venues were built. Much of the residential areas are in the eastern part of Ellinikon while the western part is small. Ellinikon is connected to Athens through a three-lane highway.

Like some of its sister cities and towns, Ellinikon is blessed with beautiful surroundings and a unique natural setting. The picturesque scenery, the majesty of the mountains, the slow pace of life, and the welcoming nature of its people all combine to make this region one of the most important touristic attractions in Europe.
