Chiliochoria

Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea. Europe is the world's second-smallest continent in terms of area and third-largest continent after Asia and Africa in population.

Chiliochoria is a city in Messenia, Greece. In 2001, the population of the city was 2,916. The seat of the municipality is in Chandrinos. Messinia is a region in the Peloponnese, a region of Greece. Messenia is bounded on the east by Mount Taygetus, on the north by the river Neda and the Arcadian Mountains, on the south and west by the sea.

Historically and economically the most significant part of Messenia is the great plain, consisting of two distinct portions, watered by the river Pamisus and its affluents. This is the most fertile tract in Greece, and at the present day produces oranges, citrons, almonds, figs, grapes and olives in great abundance and of excellent quality.

A city known for its historic myths and traditions, scenic beauty, cooperative people and luxurious hotels and cottages, Chiliochoria is one of the favorite holiday destinations for most of the vacation lovers.
