Dovras




Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea. Europe is the world's second-smallest continent in terms of area and third-largest continent after Asia and Africa in population.
 
Dovra is a municipality in the Imathia Prefecture, Greece. The population of the municipality in 2001 was 5,154  inhabitants. The seat of the municipality is in Agios Georgios. Imathia is one of the prefectures of Greece. It is located in the west-central part of Greek Macedonia. The prefecture has two provinces. The prefecture is bounded with Pieria to the south, Kozani to the west, Pella to the north and Thessaloniki to the east. The delta of the Aliakmon which is the shortest boundary with the coastling with the Thermaic Gulf to the east. 
 
The capital city of Imathia is the city of Veria. Greece is a country in south-eastern Europe, situated on the southern end of the Balkan peninsula.  It is bordered by Bulgaria, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Albania to the north and by Turkey to the east. The Aegean Sea lies to the east of mainland Greece while the Ionian Sea lies to the west.
 
Dovra, justifiably so, enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers, and is one of the most visited place. It is also said the place of best geographical environment and can trace its origins back to prehistoric times.
