Doxato
Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Doxato is one of the tourist places in Europe. It is a municipality in the Drama Prefecture, Greece. It had a population of 11,000 as of 2001. The Municipality of Doxaton was founded by law 2539 and consists of 4 municipal districts. The former municipalities of Doxaton includes Megalou Alexandrou and the former communities of Agios Athanassios, Kefalarion.
The Municipality has seat in Vathyspilo, village of the homonymous municipal district. The first authorities were elected in October 1998. Doxato is the biggest village in the area with a population about 4.500 inhabitants.

The industrial development in this municipality has been a determining factor for its economic growth and population and although the industry is losing force in the last decades, the might of the sector services continues attracting new inhabitants in the city.
