Erisos

Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean to and including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea. Europe is the world's second-smallest continent in terms of area and third-largest continent after Asia and Africa in population.

Erisos is well known for the quantity of cultural related attractions and monuments that the municipality has embraced. It is a municipality in Kefalonia, Greece. The total population was 1,963 in 2001. The seat of the municipality is in Vasilikiades.

Kefalonia, also known as Cephallenia, Kefallinia, or Kefallonia, is the largest of the Ionian Islands in western Greece. The f in the name comes from the modern convention of transcribing the Greek character f as an f. In Ancient Greek, where this character was pronounced as an aspirated p, it was normally transcribed as ph, which explains the older spellings of the name.

Presently, Erisos experiences a sharp social, economic and population growth derivative of the strategic position of the locality and the high level of well-being and quality of life that is enjoyed with respect to other places of Europe. This fact has consolidated along with other adjacent municipalities, as a great alternative for residence.
