Foloi

Foloi, older forms Foloe, older form and Latin Pholoe is a village and a municipality in the eastern part of the prefecture of Ilia. The seat of the municipality is in the village Lala. It is located about 40 kilometers from East of Pyrgos, about 70 kilometers from South of Patras, about 40 kilometers from South West of Lampeia, about 50 kilometers from South East of Amaliada and about 140 kilometers from West of Tripoli. The prefecture of Arcadia is bounded to the east in the Erymanthus river. The population of Foloi was 4,870 in the year 2001. 

Foloi is also known as the town of best geographical environment and has traced its origins back to prehistoric times. Today, one can also learn about its history, from its earliest times and can also enjoy its natural beauty concealed by the beautiful landscapes.
