Forshaga Municipality is a Swedish municipality in Varmland County, in west central Sweden. Its seat is in Forshaga with 6,300 inhabitants at 73 meters height. Other municipal towns include Tjarnheden, Dyvelsten, Molnbacka, Olsater, Tangen Rudshult, Visterud and Ostra Deje. The Kingdom of Sweden is a Nordic country in Scandinavia. It is bordered by Norway in the west, Finland in the northeast, the Skagerrak Strait and the Kattegat Strait in the southwest, and the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Bothnia in the east. It is connected to Denmark in the southwest by the Oresund Bridge. The population of the Forshaga Municipality was 11,460 in the year 2005 with an area of 350 square kilometers.
