Kokkari
Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, west of Asia. Kokkari is one of Europe most popular destinations, and is well known for the quantity of cultural related attractions and monuments that the city has embraced. It is the most picturesque fishing harbor of Samos Island, which has now developed into a large tourist center. Kokkari is on a small peninsula full of houses, which climbs up to the top of the hill with a small harbor on one side and a superb sand beach on the other. Near Kokkari are several villages like Platanakia, Valeodates, Staurinides as well as many others, which are all connected with streets or small paths.
Traveling from one village to the other, the visitor can enjoy the natural beauty of the island and the unique view that the height provides. In the area there are two of the most dazzling, small, lush coves on Samos with marvelous sand beaches, Lemonakia beach and Tsamadou bay. Kokkari can also be considered as the preeminent, historical and potential tourism destination that enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers to become one of the most visited places.
