Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, which is to the west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean, including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea. Europe is the world's second smallest continent in terms of area and third largest continent after Asia and Africa in population.

Kompoti is a municipality in the prefecture of Arta in Greece. The population was 3,485 in the year 2001. Greece, officially known as the Hellenic Republic is a country in south eastern Europe, situated on the southern end of the Balkan peninsula. It is bordered by Bulgaria, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, and Albania to the north and by Turkey to the east. The Aegean Sea lies to the east of mainland Greece which is actually to the south of the Greek periphery Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, while the Ionian Sea lies to the west. Both parts of the eastern Mediterranean basin, feature a vast number of islands.

Arta is one of the prefectures of Greece. It is part of the Epirus periphery. Its capital is the city of Arta. It is located to the north of the Ambracian Gulf. Mountains surround the northeast, with only one road linking into the Pineios valley and Thessaly and low land agricultural plains to its west. It is bounded by the prefectures of Preveza in the west, Ioannina to the north, Trikala in the east, Karditsa to the east and Aetolia Acarnania to the south.

Kompoti is a great place. It is surrounded by various mountains and beautiful valleys. As it is often regarded as among the most beautiful parts of Europe, it is one of the most visited places amongst the most die hard travelers the world over.
