Konistres

Europe is one of the five inhabited traditional continents of the Earth. Physically and geologically, Europe is the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, which is to the west of Asia. Europe is bounded to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea and to the southeast by the waterways adjoining the Mediterranean, including the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. On the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains and by the Caspian Sea. Europe is the world's second smallest continent in terms of area and third largest continent after Asia and Africa in population.

Konistres is a municipality in Euboea in Greece. The population was 4,077 in the year 2001. Euboea is the second largest of the Greek Aegean Islands and the second largest Greek island, in terms of area and population after Crete. It is separated from the mainland of Greece by the Euboic Sea. In general outline, it is long and narrow and is about 150 kilometers. It varies 50 kilometers in breadth. Its general direction is from northwest to southeast and it is traversed throughout its length by a mountain range, which forms a part of the chain that bounds Thessaly on the east and is continued to the south of Euboea in the lofty islands of Andros, Tenos and Mykonos.

Konistres is a beautiful place. It is surrounded by various islands. As it is often regarded as among the most beautiful parts of Europe, it is one of the most visited places amongst the most die hard travelers the world over.
