Louveigne is a village in the municipality of Sprimont, province of Liege, Belgium. The Kingdom of Belgium is a country in northwest Europe bordered by the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg and France and is one of the founding and core members of the European Union. Belgium has a population of over ten million people, in an area of around 30,000 square kilometers.
Straddling the cultural boundary between Germanic and Romance Europe, Belgium is linguistically divided. It has two main languages is 60 percent, mainly in the region Flanders, speak French is spoken by 40 percent in the southern region Wallonia and in the officially bilingual Brussels-Capital Region which also includes a Dutch-speaking minority.
Sprimont is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Liege. On January 1, 2006 Sprimont had a total population of 12,782. The total area is 74.28 square kilometers which gives a population density of 172 inhabitants per square kilometers.
