Markaryd

Markaryd municipality is a municipality in south-west Kronoberg County, in southern Sweden where the town Markaryd. It has the total population of 38,000 inhabitants. The total area is of 520 square kilometers and density of population is of 18.5 square kilometers.
The nature is mainly dominated by forests, as usually in Smaland, but there are also significant agricultural areas. There are also specific areas created for walks in forest and wildlife nature and just east of the town is a possibility for moose safari, arranged by Smalandet.
